Ori Kleiner
Ori Kleiner, director of Recognized, is an artist and documentary filmmaker residing in New York. Born and raised in Haifa, Kleiner received his B.F.A. in multimedia arts from the School of Visual Arts and his M.F.A. in film and media from the Hunter College Integrated Media Arts program. He teaches design and media at Parsons – The New School for Design.
Ibtisam Mara’na
An award winning documentary filmmaker. Mara’ana’s films (Paradise Lost; Badal) focus on women in Arab society in Israel. Her latest film, Three Times Divorced won Best Israeli Documentary Award at DocAviv and the Silver Award of FIPA Biaritz.The Israeli Cinema Showcase will present its UK premiere.
Ayelet Menahemi
Graduated from Beit Zvi, majoring in filmmaking. Her debut feature film Crows (1986) won many international awards. Ayelet continued her work as a filmmaker in Tel Aviv Stories (1992) and in acclaimed documentaries such as Doing Time, Doing Vipassana and It’s About Time. Noodle is her first feature film in 14 years.
Jonny Persey
Independent Film Producer, Managing Director of Met Film Productionand Director of the Met Film School at Ealing Studios. His feature film credits include Deep Water and Wondrous Oblivion.
Marek Rozenbaum
Founded Transfax Films Productions in 1988 and has since produced over 40 feature films and international co-productions. He is the Chairman of the Israeli Academy for Cinema and Television.
Rokaya Sabbah
Born in 1982 in the Arab village of Tur’an, Israel, Graduated from“Camera Obscura” School of Arts in Tel Aviv. Rokaya is currently working on her first feature film 'Till The Moon Sets' which is developed with the support of the Israeli Film Fund. On Hold is her
first documentary film.
Nadav Schirman
Son of a diplomat, Schirman grew up in Paris, Montreal, Brussels,Tel Aviv and in the USA. The Champagne Spy, screening in the Israeli Cinema Showcase, is his debut as director and script writer. Schirman has since been commissioned to write its fiction adaptation.

Executive Director of the Israel Film Fund since 1999. This is the major Film Fund in Israel, which has supported and invested in over 200 feature films. The Fund is the main body which supports, encourages, promotes and invests in Israeli feature films.
